06 August 2011

On July 1st, 2011, CIC reduced the number of applications allowed to be submitted under the Federal Skilled Worker program (under the 29 occupations list) to a maximum of 10,000 applications for this coming year. A maximum of 500 applications will be allowed for each of the 29 occupations. CIC also reduced the number of investor applications to be reviewed this year to a maximum of 750 applications.
